the wall between us is very real. it’s the screen. and its danger is its filter—it strips out the data needed to sense intent, flow, and genuine connection. or if spending energy is justified.
when i get a text, my brain stalls. there are endless ways to interpret the words, but not enough data to know what's real (just like this photo).

text = just data. varied interpretations→ halting problem voice = data + tone + cadence video = data + tone + cadence + body language
so when i ask for a call, please know it's not a power move.
